And ideally, this anchored text should be your keyword. It’s the keyword you’re attempting to target or closely associated with your keyword. So for example: I’ll take Dog Training. If you’re trying to rank for your term “training your dog”, then you need to get backlinks that reads “dog training”, right? Because again this will make lots of sense ’cause this anchored text helps the search engine figure out what the site is centered on. Obviously, basically if i hyperlink to a page with the text “dog training” that must have something connected with proper dog training. It’s not gonna talk about cars, right? But what you must examine here, if you’re building your own links as well as for example: let’s say you’re doing articles and you’re submitting articles, don’t submit articles with them all having the same anchored text. If you just submit hundreds and hundreds of articles every one has “training your dog” as the anchored text pointed in your site, then seems spamming since it is simply not real. It doesn’t happen with natural link-building with everyone links to you personally with the same text. So you might want to mix it up a bit. You might want to get “dog training” maybe “dog obedience” or anything and in addition just those completely unrelated ones. Maybe “just click here” when your anchored text. Just making it look natural.
